PF2 is the culmination of the 2-way concept in a compact format. The stated objective: to eradicate any electronic or mechanical signature, to preserve the smallest details of the signal and the most subtle dynamic variations: the speaker must completely disappear to give way to a performance as intense and lifelike as possible!
extremely fine tuning
Exceptional drivers are one thing, but all other aspects must be refined to the same level of performance if you want to achieve a consistent and high-quality result, regardless of the music being played. The PF2 required 18 months of development, including 3 months dedicated solely to fine-tuning through listening tests. The PF2 is clearly the brand's Formula 1 car, with every tiniest detail meticulously adjusted.
breakthrough in crossover design
The passive filter alone consumed a significant portion of the development time. Its objective was to closely replicate the acoustic perception of instruments. To achieve this, we sought the shortest possible response time, optimal damping, and a drastic reduction in the crossover's power consumption, while maintaining fundamental parameters such as amplitude and phase linearity as perfect as possible. The components selected are top-of-the-line, with some of them achieving a precision of 0.2%.
top end drivers
The 19cm mid-bass driver is a piece of art and manufacturing: a combination of a high-end motor, an extremely high-performance TPCD diaphragm with a large radiating surface (158 cm²), and a very low moving mass (15.6 g). This gives it the ability to reproduce the low end with exceptional fidelity, while remaining agile and very linear in the midrange area. The tweeter, for its part, is on the same level, an engineering marvel, with a very powerful motor, a featherweight moving assembly, a very large radiating surface, and very low distortion up to 1 kHz. I had to try it by myself to believe in a such perfect design !

PF2 Signature is available with a selection of original metallic colors, covered with a matte varnish, for a finish that is both classy and timeless.

That's the first thing that strikes you, right from the very first notes. PF2 Signature reproduces the performance with remarkable realism, giving the impression of no system at all. The smallest details are perceived with their depth, their colors, their spatial radiance, while large dynamic ranges are rendered with remarkable freedom, reminiscent of certain qualities of high-efficiency systems. If the system is up to the task, the soundstage is virtually limitless, completely immersing the listener in the artist's performance.
